The Kendall

Desk staff was especially friendly and helpful the whole stay. When we got there the evening clerk walked us to our room, in the middle of the night the night clerk got me Gatorade for my daughter when I had concerns about the water, and in the morning the morning clerk followed up with me about the water incident just to make sure I felt assured it was addressed.

I loved the historic charm, the location of the hotel, the comfort and cleanliness.

Our accommodations were met, and the Kendal associates were kind and courteous. We enjoyed walking around and exploring the historical building and the antique furniture. I loved the preservation of the other buildings that were not attached yet designed as bedroom suites as well. The restaurant "Peggy on the Green" was pleasant and the food delicious. The walkway attached leads to the Guadelupe river, where the ducks and other wildlife thrive. The shops nearby were lovely and interesting.

The property is beautiful with much attention to old-charm detail. The rooms are authentic and beautifully furnished. The hotel exudes charm like no other. The owner visits frequently and personally greeted us. Every room displays individual its own unique ambiance charm. Review the pictures online. We loved the courtyard, the outdoor fireplace, and Christmas music that created charming ambiance. One evening we sat in the big white rockers across the wooden front porch area and drank our wine while enjoying the beautiful park scenery across the street. The hotel is within walking distance to all Main Street has to offer. You will absolutely fall in love with The Kendall. We will be back to enjoy all of the charm The Kendall has to offer. We even walked a nature trail that begins right along side of the hotel. It was absolutely beautiful. I can’t say enough about our wonderful experience at The Kendall. We are from New Orleans and had a wonderful hotel experience.

We loved our stay at the Kendall, the rooms are unique, clean and beautifully designed. The location is perfect to walk to the restaurants/shops and enjoy the river. The staff are friendly and accommodating, we were also given a private tour of some of the other rooms by chance.
